The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and management to ensure the achievement of the organization’s mission and objectives. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors, leading the senior management team, and representing the organization to stakeholders and the broader community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of organizational management, and a proven track record of driving growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to the senior management team and staff.
- Oversee the organization’s operational, financial, and administrative functions.
- Ensure the organization’s financial stability and sustainability through effective budget management and fundraising initiatives.
- Represent the organization in public forums, media, and with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and donors.
- Foster a positive and collaborative organizational culture.
- Report to and collaborate with the Board of Directors on policy decisions, strategic planning, and overall organizational governance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and community organizations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the organization’s performance against goals and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the organization’s operations and reputation.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in a nonprofit or similar organization.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, and fundraising.
- Strong understanding of governance and working with a Board of Directors.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
