Acute Care RN - Labor & Delivery

A respected nonprofit healthcare organization in western Montana is seeking Registered Nurses specializing in Labor & Delivery to join its acute care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric providers, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established care protocols
• Support a patient-focused culture that prioritizes safety, dignity, and respect

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Montana (required at time of hire)
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
